Richard Glenn Peterson aka "Dix Risquo"

Richard Glenn Peterson, 51 of Lake Villa, died May 31 at home.

He was born June 22, 1954 in Libertyville.

He enjoyed playing and collecting guitars. Music was his passion and enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include his companion, Becky Bailey; his daughters, Cara Peterson, Elise Peterson;

his brother, Jim Peterson; and former wife, Carrie Peterson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Mary (nee Simeon) Peterson and his sister,

Carol Erickson.

Funeral services were held June 5 at the Niles Community Church, Niles, Ill.

Rev. Steven L. Howery officiating. Interment followed in Ridgewood Cemetery, Niles. A reception followed.

A celebration concert in his memory was held June 10 at Blues Fest, Round Lake Park.
